and the score isssssss

so yesterday was the second last league game of the floorball season..
we were tied on points with 2 other teams and ranked 3rd in the standings due to goal difference..
we needed to score a substantial amount to ensure we have a chance of winning the title. (trust me.. when i say substantial, i mean a lot)..

the final game, we will be facing another title contender, one of those teams we're tied with on points... neither team will want anything but a win. and to win big. or the 3rd team would clinch the title. yes it is that drama lol.. even if we win, we may not get the title.. just pray..

so yesterday we needed the score to be something like 24-0 ... sounded a little crazy at first, and we were playing the SIM Blacks. our task was made a little easier when the Blacks turned up with only 7 outfield players, and then their goalie got injured midway putting them down to 6 outfield players... we had maybee 16?

final score was 35-2.. credit to the Blacks, even though they must have been shitfaced tired after the whole thing, they never gave up and still put a smile on their faces..

I DIDN'T SCORE! FCUK! i must have been the only one of the team without a goal lol.. oh well :( ... i got an assist though.. it's still a point.. a first-time drag past through the legs of a dinner a cross the face of goal to a teammate who needed only a tap in.. there's my point lol...

seriously they should give points to everyone who touchs the ball like maybe the last 3 players who make passes because they help create the goal too! for instance..

player A is a defender receives the ball, takes a shot which is blocked by the opposition, the ball rebounds back to player A.. he takes the ball to the right, running out to the flank and then down court.. he then runs slightly behind goal, passes against the board from behind and finds an open man who passes the ball in and someone scores..

i was player A hehehe.. i deserve a point for that one loool.. nah just playing.. as long as the team wins... most important thing..

so tired.. going back to sleep in a bit.. had to wake up this whole week to send my bro to school.. thank god for car pool... for the next 2 weeks it's not my turn.. YESSSS! i love sleeping in..

just got up now again to do stupid IS Enrolment.. which for those of you who don't know, it's like opening a webpage at a certain time with hundreds or thousands of other students from the same poly who ar ein the same time slot.. and u get on the page 5 minutes before your slot.. and start refreshing refreshing.. nano-seconds count here.. a mini-click off would make the difference between getting into a completely crappy module like Effective Negotiation? (sounds interesting but i watched their trailer video and the lecturer couldn't convince me.. so i deem if the teacher isn't even effective and negotiation and convincing me to join his class.. FAILED!)

and an interesting module like Appreciating Artwork (which is not on my list for some F-de up reason.. maybe it's cause i'm already in an arts course.. but that's just stupid) or Mobile Robotics which is fun lol.. i mean what can be more fun then having 30% of you grade for the module be dependent on your lego model? lol so fun!

so i joined robotics.. hope it's fun.. and i don't have to wakey so early on this day too.. 10am first class isn't so bad *nod nod* then an hour break before something like Social Studies.. World Issues: A Singapore Perspective.. bleh..

hmmmmmm i'm hungry.. think i'll go eat something and not go back to bed..
lol oh oh.. like can you imagine one second your IBP film crew is short on story ideas.. and here comes the pitch less than 2 weeks away.. and then suddenly on one fateful night (last night), 3 of your group members, the Director, Producer and Cinematographer thought of the exact same story concept? is that Fate or What? looool

oh well.. going to discuss the story later with chiam.. this one sounds good.. hehehe

k returned the 5 movies

1) Final Cut... 5/10 the film had a good central idea behind it, but failed to do anything spectacular. was a bad mixture of too many plots that don't have any strong link between them.. you could probably seperate those plots and make another 2 or 3 movies at least they'd be more focused.

2) Three Kings.. 6/10 a movie i remembered watching when i was in secondary school i think.. impressed me then, failed to impress me too now.. was alright, but didn't draw any OOoooss or Ahhhhs from me.. really average..

3) Schindler's List 8.5/10.. what more can i say.. this movie is good.

4) Munich 7.5/10.. a good watch... but at the end of the movie i struggle to feel for the character.. i don't really know him i find..

5) Dirty War 7.5/10.. for a film not widely known, it was pretty good.. an exploration of how terrorist could possibly go about detonating a "Dirty Bomb" in London.. and the effects if we are not ready for it..

7) Stranger Than Fiction.. been wanting to watch this one for awhile too
8) 16 Blocks.. this one i've seen before but kind of forgot how it went.. it impressed me the 1st time i saw it..
9)Tears of The Sun.. another Bruce Willisd movie i've been interested in seeing this one for awhile..
10) and Francis Ford Coppola's Apocalypse Now.. hope i didn't borrow the extended cut lol.. even though i think i did =X ..

i tried watching Michael Gondry's "Science of Sleep" but it failed to grasp my attention.. something about it just didn't do it for me lol..

FREAKING MOZZIES!

as i was sleeping last night.. mozzies invaded my air-conditioned haven, and bit the living day lights out of me.. okay no i'm being overly dramatic.. they got me on my feet, and on my chest and near something which all guys' have.. yes.. commando mozzie attacks..

i have since sprayed the left over mozzie repellent from borneo all over myself...

freaking class timetables are pissing me off because they gave me hopes of a good class only to jimble jamble and now i don't even know who's in my class lol.. we'll find out first week of school..

i can't wait for school to start again lol.. i'm so boreddddd.. i need a lifeee.. i'm like living for my weekends cause that's the only time i can get to see marie cause she's on attachment already..

i've been ordering mcdonalds in hopes of winning the $10000 prize money so i can go back to borneo looool.. and then i'll invest the rest and hopefully by the time my body is breaking down, i'll have some money to live on... and of course some will go to charity.. (isn't that just so politically correct?) preferably one regarding children...

so i've already watched Schindler's List, and it's really impactful.. a good film yep yep.. i've heard Munich is better, so we'll see... ah steven spielberg man..

it's been agess

okay so i can't go to sleep cause of a stupid fucked up nightmare,
i'm awake, it's 10am and no one's online except dx..
and i'm here because i'm feeling bored and i haven't blogged in awhile so i figured.. why not.

anyways.. my killer tan from borneo is peeling off.. from my shoulder and upper back.. and upper arms.. but the rest of my body looks good.. lol.. I WANNA GO BACk!
I'm having trouble readjusting back to normal life cause i've found something better... anyway.. dun wanna get all soppy and mushy here..

i'm saving up and looking forward to the next trip.. where i'm gonna get my Scuba license.. wooo awesomeeee..

so the grades... i did pretty okay.. i've got ADs (oh i'm such a showoff =P), a B+, 2 Bs, and a C+ for the most useless of all possible modules.. "Serious Fun with E-Gaming" looool.. freaking stupid module...

but the most unexpected thing was AD-ing of all things Computer Graphics... O_O
that just doesn't make sense to me lol.. so i figured it must be me headbanging in the background of our project to the power rangers theme song, while doing the animation and rigging.. lol.. not one of my better moments... ah stop judging lah.. i have the right to stupid moments like everyone else.. even though this was a really stupid one lol...

i'd like to get a higher grade for Drama Pro.. but i'm thinking the 2nd project fucked up really bad.. not sure if i wanna fight for it.. cause my gpa is slightly under 3.5 now.. and i'm trying to get it to 3.5.. ah don't know.. we'll see...

i'm really busy now because i'm (well supposedly derrick and i) are supposed to be the liasons between the Borneo projects and some Asian Digital Storytelling Festival in septemeber... so we've got tons to prepare.. but derrick needs to find us some additional photos, and since my photography isn't that amazing, nevermind i'll stay home and do the paperwork..
i just wrote a 12 page manual on how to get the best out of iMovie and transfer it to Final Cut for subtitling.. due to some issues with subtitles not being able to be seen... took me 3 hours.. and i didn't bother doing anything else the rest of the day yesterday lol...i've worked enough for 1 day i thought... lol.. anyways..

i don't wanna work.. i don't wana wanna wanna work lol.. i'm thinking as much as you know it'd be good to gain experience? fuck that... i'm going to NS in a year's time.. i'm not gonna get any more time from my youth cause i'm fucking 19 going on 20.. somehow you feel old when u feel u're arriving to the magical Vingt Et Un... god mann.. i wanna enjoy what's left of my youth lol yes..

AUGUST RUSH IS SO BAD! FUCK IMDB it just lost it's street Cred.. THAT MOVIE SUCKS... fucking horrible storytelling and cheesey plots, the music and pretty well known actors are all that tries to save it from committing suicide but it still does in the end.. fuck man... it's Rotten Tomatoes from now on.. it had a 34% good comment percentage.. and was rated really low upon 10 i think...

yes so August Rush sucks.. please don't watch it unless u want to go insane like i did...

i feel happy when it rains for some reason..
because it makes everything cool and nice and everything..
but the thought of Hastari (JI leader who escaped) freezing in the woods, soaked from head to toe is comforting lol..
even if i know he's probably already found shelter..
the thought of a terrorist trying to hide it out in the woods for a few days, and it's rained the psat few days.. it's cold, wet, he probably doesn't have any food unless he kills a colugo, is just comforting lol..

or maybe they can't find him because a reticulated python got to him XD ... i know we don't see many.. but hey if they can find a 7metre long python in a longkang in Bukit Gombak (was it?) a couple of years ago, they can find a bigger one somewhere in the forest.

or his feet got stung by scorpions? lol.. bitten by snakes, ants, mosquitos lol even if he does make it out alive he probably has a very serious case of denghi hurhur...

or he accidentally stumbles into the zoo's tiger/lion/crocodile enclosure? hurhur.. or night safari's leopards and shite.. my god.. good luck mr.kastari!

apart from that, just got back from beach road, the first Deuter i bought was too small... so i bought another one double the size.. and it's looking extremely promising at the moment hurhur.. packed all my clothes in.. and the bag's only half full hahaha.. talk about overkill.. but i have my boots to go in, 1 pair of normal shoes and a pair of slippers.. a towel, hmm.. some toothbrush and shampooo.. i don't think i'll bring a shaver, i'll just shave tonight thank god my moustachio doesn't grow back that fast yet... mm gonna go eat.. still have a floorball game later at night.. don't think i'll be able to meet marie.. cause i'll still be in jurong when she arrives at the airport.. we'll see..
